Hi everybody! Columbus Day weekend is upon us, and that means one thing . . . Parades!! The Munroe Dairy Marching Milkman Band will be playing in two parades this weekend. Our first appearance will be on Sunday, Oct 11th at the Columbus Day parade on Federal Hill in Providence. It's a short parade down Atwells Ave, starting at Harris Ave, and it steps off at 11 AM. Lots of fun & great food!! Check us out! Hi everyone! One of our fondest events is coming up this Saturday. The residents of Mary Carpenter's Beach in Matunuck RI have invited us again to lead their Light Parade to mark the end of summer. This will be the 12th time the band has led the kids at sunset around the narrow, magical, colorfully-lit streets of this cottage community. Hi everyone! This Saturday the Marching Milkman Band will once again perform at The Arnold Mills July 4th Parade. And this will be the parade's 100th year! This is a small, local parade that starts on the Massachusetts/Rhode Island line between Cumberland RI and North Attleboro MA, proceeds along Nate Whipple Hwy (Rte 120) up past the Arnold Mills village, and ends just before Diamond Hill Rd (Rte 114).
