Bill & Emily's Musical Exploits

Hi everyone!

George Kent, a remarkably important musical presence in Rhode Island for many decades, passed away recently. A celebration of his life will take place in Westerly RI at Wilcox Park, immediately after his funeral. There will be musical performances in the park, and the Munroe Dairy Marching Band has been invited to perform in honor of George. Our bandleader, Gerry Heroux, inducted George into the RI Music Hall of Fame last year.

The park is open to the public, so feel free to stroll through and listen to music! The Marching Band will perform a short stroll starting at 7 PM, and ending at the historic 1902 park bandstand, so if you hear us, come by and say hello and give us a cheer!

Bill & Emily's Musical Exploits

Hi everyone!

For this year's 4th of July, the Marching Milkman Band will be performing in a brand new event for us - The Arnold Mills July 4th Parade! This will be the parade's 99th year!

This is a small, local parade that starts on the Massachusetts/Rhode Island line between Cumberland RI and North Attleboro MA, proceeds along Nate Whipple Hwy (Rte 120) up past the Arnold Mills village, and ends at Diamond Hill Rd (Rte 114).

The parade will step off Friday morning, July 4th, at 11 AM. Come on out and give us a cheer!

Bill & Emily's Musical Exploits

Hello everyone!

Parade season has begun! Our first big parade of our 22nd season is coming up! This Saturday, June 14th, the Munroe Dairy Marching Band will parade at the 60th Gaspee Days Parade in Pawtuxet (Warwick/Cranston) RI. Munroe Dairy really pulls all the stops for this big, colorful event! The parade steps off at 10 AM. It's a very cool parade, featuring groups in authentic historic costumes (and milkmen in their whites). Come out and give us a cheer!
